Hey everyone, remember me? How have you been? Good I hope. Did I miss anything exciting?

I just wanted to stop by and share this with you. I made this graphic the morning after the 2018 Midterm Elections as a way to hold on to the inspiration I felt from the Beto O’Rourke’s campaign. After I posted it on Instagram, a number of people asked me to make stickers, so I have made it available on a number of products here.

Everything will be available until Friday, December 14. All designer proceeds will be donated to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank. So if you feel like picking something up, know that you are also helping someone in need. Thank you!

I haven’t gone a single day in the last 8 years without seeing people make some of the most vile, racist, hate-filled comments about someone who they not only wouldn’t acknowledge as president, but wouldn’t even acknowledge as an American. The day after the election they are saying “You lost, stop whining."

The End

I started this blog exactly six years ago today. I cannot even begin to communicate how much it and you all have meant to me. The opportunity to share these things that I love, as well as get to know so many amazing people, is something I will forever be grateful for. I have gone through a lot personally since I started this thing and some of those years were the most difficult of my life. Having this outlet often felt like a lifeline. 

Having said that, I’ve felt for a while that my posts have gotten repetitive. That everything I’ve shared, I’ve shared some variation of before. I have also made a sincere effort to research and credit every post, something I think is incredibly important, but that takes a lot of time. Because of this, I have decided this would probably be a good time to say goodbye. I am proud of this thing and I would rather stop now than have it become something less than I think it should be. As difficult as it may be, the time has come to focus on other things.

It’s going to be weird, this has been such a huge part of my life for so long. Maybe I’ll post again at some point in the future, I don’t know. If nothing else, you can always check out the archive.
